This weekend: The Pacific NW Writers Association’s annual conference.
A great place to pitch a high-powered agent.
I’ll be teaching twice:
· Sunday the 24th BUILD TO A BOOK DEAL: a 1-hour workshop examining the whole of the publishing industry and how to maximize your experience in it to increase the chances of landing a traditional deal.
o 9AM — 10AM
o Northwest 2
· Saturday the 23rd THE MOVEABLE BOOK FEAST: 20-minute mini-sessions, each a roundtable with its own topic. Call it speed-dating for writers!
o High noon!
o Cascade 7–8, Table #1
o My topic: managing multiple POV — without confusing your readers. (I call it something like: Virginia Woolf Can Do It, So Why Can’t I?)
Hope to see some of you there!
